Everest People Solutions are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to cover the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire areas, for our client based in the heart of the South West, who is a leading supplier of the freshest, locally sourced fish and seafood in the UK. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team in a leading seafood business.

This will be an exciting role that you can really get stuck into and will include the following:

* Develop and nurture relationships with customers across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, building long-term trust and rapport by offering solid solutions and ideas to meet their business needs.

* Identify opportunities using a variety of resources and strategic questioning techniques to find gaps within the existing ledger.

* Maintain a detailed and updated working pipeline document of all prospective business.

* Provide accurate and timely information and feedback to management and other business areas to ensure continued service excellence and growth opportunities.

* Report monthly on sales performance and future plans, implementing action plans where necessary.

* Follow good management practices and all processes to ensure the health and safety of employees and customers.

You'll have the following:

* Passion for food, particularly seafood, with hospitality industry knowledge; seafood experience is a great advantage, though sales experience is not essential.

* Thorough knowledge and understanding of the marketplace and the food industry.

* High level of professionalism while remaining personable and approachable.

* Collaborative and hands-on approach, driven by excellent customer service skills.

* Analytical methodology to seek out and optimize growth opportunities.

* Valid driving license and ability to work across the region as required for customer base; must live within a reasonable commuting distance.
