At Hurford Salvi Carr we are currently looking to recruit a Lettings Coordinator to come and join our busy team based in our City and Clerkenwell office. Hurford Salvi Carr were the first residential estate agents to open an office in Clerkenwell, which means we have built up a specialist knowledge of the lettings market in the area and its wide variety of residential properties. The successful candidate will join us on a full time, permanent office basis (Monday to Friday) and will receive a competitive salary of £32,000 pa. Key responsibilities of our Lettings Coordinator:
Processing New Tenancies
Arranging check- in appointments and inventories
Generating & Distributing Tenancy Agreements
Assist Negotiators in completing Reference Checks
Chasing move in funds from tenants
Ensuring Documentation & Certification compliance for the Tenancy
Sending welcome letters, inventories and update utility switching portal
Sending Terms of Business & Client ID requests
Help ensure complaince by checking landlord licencing and appropriate valid compliance certificates
Check outs and deposit returns
Generate and completing work orders
Ensure excellent data quality, saving documents and file notes on Reapit
Assist with marketing including canvassing, window cards, boards and booking photos
Other duties for Lettings Coordinator will include:
Greet & Welcome visitors into the office, assisting with all initial queries
Hand out keys to contractors and inventory clerks
Maintain an accurate record of the allocation and movement of property keys
Responsible for main line telephone calls & voicemails, emails & post
Facilities Management (Stationary, Recycling, Cleaning, Alarm, etc)
Assist other offices and Lettings departments if required
Skills and experience required of our Lettings Coordinator.
Candidates should ideally have worked in the property industry for at least 2-3 years and be familiar with the lettings process. We are looking for a candidate who is customer service orientated, willing to help and welcome visitors to the office and deal with lettings queries in an enthusiastic, well presented, confident and polite manner. Our Lettings Coordinator will need to be organised as the workload is varied with important deadlines that need to be met.
