Food Safety Inspector

Working within the public sector you will be required to support the Environmental Health Team in the role of Food Safety Inspector.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Carry out Food Hygiene inspections/surveys in the district alongside other statutory functions with the Food & Safety Team.
Gather evidence, writing letters and taking enforcement action
Ad-hoc duties to support the wider teamTo be considered for this role you will need to have:
Ideally registered with the Environmental Health Registration Board and hold a relative qualification.
Demonstrable knowledge, experience and expertise in relation to Food Safety.
Relevant experience of Food Safety and enforcement.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to convey and receive information accurately with tact and diplomacy.
Ability to organise and prioritise workload
Able to travel within the districtThis is a long-term temporary role requiring an immediate start, offering 37.5 hours per week.
