Duties:

- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the kitchen staff
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware
- Assist in receiving and storing food supplies
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Help with inventory management and stock rotation
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations

Also you will need to learn how to prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen/bar is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays and summer term period.
