Contract: Full-Time, Temporary (Until 31/01/2025, with potential for extension)

As an Administrative Support/Fine Officer, you'll play a vital role in the operations of Plymouth Magistrates Court, helping to enforce monetary orders and support the delivery of justice. Your responsibilities will include:
Engaging with Customers: Communicate confidently and effectively, including handling challenging conversations with individuals regarding unpaid fines.
Decision Making: Assist with enforcement steps for defaulters and provide advice on court procedures.
Customer Correspondence: Handle inquiries, manage customer calls, and liaise with agencies such as bailiffs, DWP, and employers.
Data Management: Input case details accurately, process paperwork, and support telephone debt recovery efforts.
Team Collaboration: Work with internal teams and external agencies to ensure efficient enforcement of judicial outcomes.
General Administration: Perform essential tasks such as photocopying, filing, archiving, and managing office communications.What We're Looking For

Tech-Savviness: Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams) is helpful, but training will be provided for government systems.

Background Checks: The successful candidate will need to pass a Standard DBS check and provide 3-year references.
