SEN Teacher – Norfolk

Location: Norfolk

Salary: £180 - -£230/day

Hours: 40 hours per week

Are you an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher seeking a rewarding role in Norfolk? We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our books who are passionate about making a real difference to children aged 11-16 with SEN and SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons across a range of subjects.

Adapt the curriculum to meet the needs of pupils with SEN and SEMH.

Lead and mentor Teaching Assistants and Higher-Level Teaching Assistants.

Implement school policies, including safeguarding and promoting equality.

Monitor student progress, focusing on both academic and emotional development.

Build strong, nurturing relationships with students, supporting their learning journey.

Sen Teacher Requirements

QTS or QTLS (essential); ECT’s are welcome to apply.

Experience teaching pupils with SEN and working with EHCPs.

Strong knowledge of the curriculum and strategies for engaging SEN learners.

Proven ability to manage and support students with anxiety and SEMH needs.

A creative, flexible approach to teaching tailored to individual learning styles. 

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (required due to rural locations).

About the Role

As an SEN Teacher in Norfolk, you will provide exceptional teaching to small classes of up to 10 students, supported by a minimum of three staff members per class. The students have a range of needs, including communication and interaction difficulties, specific learning challenges such as dyslexia, autism spectrum conditions, and social, emotional, or mental health barriers.

These roles are ideal for committed SEN Teachers who thrive in a nurturing environment and are passionate about transforming lives. You will deliver engaging and creative lessons, adapt the curriculum to meet individual needs, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including an onsite clinical teams and experienced senior leadership teams.
