About the Opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional SEN Teacher to join our team at Acorn Park School, where you will play a vital role in empowering vulnerable young people with autism and complex needs. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated individual who wants to make a significant positive impact on the lives of others.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing creative learning opportunities for pupils with varied and complex needs, working closely with our experienced team to provide a high-quality education and care. Our school maintains a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected, and involved in decision-making processes as much as possible.
As a SEN Teacher at Acorn Park, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly personalized curriculum pathway, tailored to meet the unique needs of each pupil. You will also have access to state-of-the-art facilities, including a Forest School and Animal Care Farm, which offer invaluable opportunities for hands-on learning and exploration.
In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will contribute to the development of our school's policies and procedures, ensuring that we continue to provide the best possible outcomes for our pupils. Your expertise and experience will help shape the future of our school, enabling us to remain at the forefront of providing innovative and effective support for individuals with autism and complex needs.
A competitive salary of approximately &163;35,000 - &163;45,000 per annum (dependent on experience) reflects the importance of this role in driving excellence in education and care.
