Pastoral Manager

Are you an experienced Behavioural Lead looking for a new opportunity in Birmingham?
Winner Education are working closely with a school just outside of the Birmingham city centre in assisting them with the recruitment of a dedicated Pastoral Manager. The role is full time and will be required to start immediately to cover a staff members absence until the end of the school with the potential to continue into January 2025.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support children at KS3 and KS4 level with Social, Emotional and Mental Health challenges (SEMH)
Build strong professional relationships with the pupils to enhance their education
Liaise with parents inside and outside of school
Liaise with external agencies
Maintain a strong relationship with the school’s SENCO
The Successful Pastoral Manager will:
Need to be highly organised
Have a clear understanding of pastoral issues and needs
Strong safeguarding knowledge
Have excellent interpersonal skills
Demonstrate resilience and positive mind-set
Be able to form positive relationships with all staff and parents
