We are currently seeking a 🕵️‍♂️ Background Screening Administrator 🕵️‍♀️ to join our client's dynamic team Working in the heart of London, you'll be part of a not-for-profit organisation that is dedicated to making a positive impact in our society.

As a knowledgeable and proactive People Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring that our screening and vetting processes are thorough and efficient. You will collaborate with our third-party vendor to complete background checks for candidates, keeping an eye out for any discrepancies. Additionally, you'll assist our research teams with specialised screenings as required.

What you'll be doing:

Providing comprehensive administrative support to the People Directorate, with a focus on onboarding and background screening processes.
Handling background screening initiation, responding to queries, and updating records in our vendor portal.
Mitigating and escalating any discrepancies found in background screenings, such as Rights to Work, References, employment gaps, and DBS checks.
Assisting with Risk Review Reports and periodic re-screening of employees and workers.
Maintaining accurate HR records, candidate databases, spreadsheets, and personnel files.
Collaborating with fellow People Administrators to ensure seamless onboarding experiences.What we're looking for:

Previous experience in a background screening or compliance environment, ideally within a large team.
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office packages and HR systems.
Process-driven with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to provide reports and statistics.Why join us?
