**About this role**:
The Staffing Shared Services function at Wells Fargo provide the administrative and shared service support to ensure that we continue to hire the best talent in the world in a quick, efficient and compliant manner. **In this role, you will**:

- Define, implement, and manage improvements to the international background check processes in line with policy and business requirements.
- Manage the International Background Screening process as the formal process owner; identifying efficiencies and opportunities to improve service efficiency and turnaround times.
- Ensure ongoing compliance to relevant policies, regulations and requirements across all operating regions; partnering with Compliance and Risk teams at both a global and regional level.
- Responsible for ensuring background screening products and services are fit for purpose and aligned with both Wells Fargo's operational and strategic direction.
- Owns the operational vendor relationship with relevant service providers; ensuring our vendor model sustains a high level of quality and value.
- Work in partnership with the Operations Manager to ensure that background screening services meet agreed service levels; aligns with industry best practice and business requirements.
- Be the customer facing representative for background screening across all international regions; acting as an escalation point and senior relationship manager to regional leadership teams and other COEs.
- Lead programs and initiatives across a global/international and geographically dispersed team of senior recruitment team members. Sets overall program initiatives and ensures timely and effective delivery.
- Analyse external industry market trends providing leadership and consulting on areas of expertise throughout the organization and integrates into strategic plans.
- Collaborate across international teams to drive program implementation, while liaising with the corporate/enterprise teams.
- Ensure alignment of program priorities with business and HR function strategies.
- Network with industry peers to take advantage of best practices, ensuring Wells Fargo's background screening processes, policies, and tools are leading edge.
- Provide consulting support to internal clients in area of accountability.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Experience in Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- In-depth experience of background screening in a large matrixed international environment
- Experience of working in a regulated environment and its associated risk management activities
- Experience of working in close partnership with Risk and Compliance teams on an international basis
- Experience of systems and product implementations specific to background screening processes and technology
- Strong service delivery and account management experience across multiple geographies
- Experience of Workday Recruiting and Core HCM with functional knowledge of background screening integrations
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma concepts and principles
- Experience of leading teams in an international matrix environment

**Job Expectations**:

- Wells Fargo operates a Hybrid working model combining office and home working. The requirement is a minimum of 3 days in the office.
