Business Development Manager

Our client operate as a Specialist Sub Contractor based south of Salisbury. Trading for 30 + years they are a very established business in their sector.
They are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join a relatively new division of the business that has been going from strength to strength.
The role will be predominately office based or meeting clients. Operating within the rail sector, some previous experience would be advantageous, but not a necessity. The successful individual will need to possess strong verbal and written communication skills, able to develop their own business as well as leverage repeat business with existing clients. Previous construction experience will be required.

Able to organise and work independently as well as within a team
A bubbly outgoing personality
A proactive thinker who understands how to control meetings
Good written and verbal communicator that will be involved in the process from Cold calling, attending meetings, bringing tendering opportunities in through the door, working with the team and producing the bid and delivering at tender interview. Must
Be able to work in the office or travel to meet clients (Predominately in the South of England) Can
Have worked within the rail / steel sector of construction but believe they have the necessary attributes to undertake this role Remunerations
Salary (depending on experience) if still relatively new to the role, it will pay £45K + Car Allowance ++
If more experienced, then this will be reflected. The client are looking to identify and hire someone ASAP
