Legal Billing Assistant

This Legal Billing Assistant position will support the finance function of an established Law Firm based in City of London. The role will cover day to day client billing, liaising with both fee earners and clients ensure bills are created and paid on time.

My client are an established Law Firm with a respected reputation across their clients and within the legal sector and currently experiencing growth across the business resulting in the need for a new Legal Billings Assistant to join their finance team in City of London.
Description
As the Legal Billings Assistant your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and sending bills
Liaising with fee earners to ensure timely billing
Managing client balances
Managing and ensuring bills are paid within deadlines
Chasing outstanding payments
Providing support to the Finance Manager and Legal Cashier where required
Supporting system and process improvement and automaton across billings and the wider finance function
Additional finance and data processing dutiesProfile
The successful Legal Billings Assistant:
1+ years finance experience within professional/business services
Strong excel experience
Experience in client accounts and/or law firm is highly desirable
Excellent attention to detail and time management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Job Offer
£28,000 salary - £35,000 (flexible upon experience)
