The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of First Line Risk – Motor Product for this leading insurance company. In this pivotal role, you will lead Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) initiatives specifically for the motor product line. This is a chance to drive meaningful cultural change in risk management during a period of significant business transformation. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the governance, risk, and assurance functions for the motor product line, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy.
- Develop and implement comprehensive risk frameworks to address emerging regulatory challenges and technologies.
- Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of GRC solutions and controls.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of risk and compliance professionals.
- Drive a culture of accountability and proactive risk management across the department.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in risk and controls within the insurance industry, particularly in motor products.
- Proven leadership in governance, risk, and assurance functions.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate, and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to articulate complex issues clearly.
