**Requirements:**

* 5+ years of experience as a Sales Manager/Director with a proven track record and technical background
* In-depth understanding and experience working in the speciality chemical industries
* Knowledge of customers of raw materials in the food additives, nutrition, and animal feed sectors
* Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, identify new market opportunities, and drive new business and customers
* Degree-level education in a scientific discipline
* Highly proficient in English, comfortable with technical terminology and documentation
* Proficient in working with technology (laptops, phones) and Microsoft software (Windows, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
* Willingness to travel around the UK and in Europe to meet customers when required
* Willingness to travel to the Leeds-based office (minimum) once a week

**Desirable Qualities:**

* Experience working with CRMs and ERPs
* Training in management (online/in-person courses, MBAs etc.)
