About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team in King's Lynn. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the upkeep of our facilities and providing an exceptional level of service to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • To conduct regular cleaning tasks in custody areas, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • To utilise specialist equipment and chemicals for deep cleaning, as well as vacuuming and mopping floors, and operating floor machines.
  • To support the site manager in general maintenance activities, including planned and reactive works, to ensure compliance and maintain the day-to-day running of the site.
  • To provide routine maintenance, including minor repairs and construction, to ensure satisfactory upkeep of police properties, including custody areas.
Requirements
  • A willingness to learn and take pride in your work.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective planning and prioritisation of daily cleaning tasks.
  • A reasonable level of fitness suitable for the demands of the role.
