Facilities Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Facilities Management Specialist to join our team at HL Services. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the condition of our facilities, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, with experience in managing maintenance activities and improving facility conditions. You will be responsible for conducting site visits, identifying areas for improvement, and developing and implementing maintenance plans to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits to identify areas for improvement and develop maintenance plans
- Manage maintenance activities, including scheduling and monitoring progress
- Identify and address facility-related issues, such as equipment failures and pest control
- Develop and implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce costs and improve sustainability
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address facility-related needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as facilities management or engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities management, with a focus on maintenance and improvement
- Proven track record of success in managing maintenance activities and improving facility conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
- Ability to think critically and solve problems independently
- Familiarity with facilities management principles and best practices
Compensation:
The salary for this position is approximately £30,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
