About the Role

As a Maintenance Specialist at Engineering Careers, you will be responsible for the efficient maintenance of our production plant. This will involve performing fault diagnosis and resolving failures on production machinery, including automation, electrical, and mechanical issues. You will also be responsible for keeping accurate records and reporting maintenance activities via our site CMMS (SAP) system, escalating any maintenance issues as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform fault diagnosis and resolve failures on production machinery
  • Keep accurate records and report maintenance activities via SAP
  • Escalate any maintenance issues as necessary
  • Drive maintenance continuous improvement via preventative maintenance activities, equipment checks, and repairs

Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience gained within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience of working with automation, PLCs, fault-finding, and diagnostics
  • Experience of CMMS systems, ideally SAP
  • Root cause analysis and preventative/planned maintenance optimisation
