Job Title: Cleaning Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Manager to join our client's team in County Durham. As a key member of the facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer service across our retail site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of cleaning operatives to deliver exceptional cleaning standards and customer service
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and rotas to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Monitor and report on cleaning performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Collaborate with the services manager to deliver a comprehensive facilities management service to our clients
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, risk assessments, and method statements
  • Investigate and resolve any incidents or complaints related to cleaning services
  • Provide training and support to cleaning operatives to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality cleaning services
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including late nights and weekends
  • Good knowledge of health and safety procedures and risk assessments
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports
