Bridge Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Manager to join the team of one of our clients, a national provider of bespoke cleaning and security solutions for various sectors.

As a Cleaning Manager, you will be based at the client's retail site in Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham, and will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of cleaning standards, reporting directly to the Services Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the successful delivery of cleaning standards on site, reporting directly to the Services Manager.
  • Provide sufficient cover at all times and allocate cleaning tasks correctly.
  • Support the Services Manager in delivering the whole service to the client.
  • Monitor cleaning operatives' attendance, check for any trends, and ensure any trigger points are dealt with accordingly.
  • Investigate any breaches of health and safety, complaints, or observations about team members' conduct.
  • Carry out regular cleaning audits and KPI support.
  • Provide support services and oversee security and maintenance teams when required.
Requirements:
  • Good leadership, organisational, and people management skills.
  • Ability to work to set schedules and work on own initiative.
  • Flexible and proactive attitude.
  • Good knowledge and experience of health and safety procedures and carrying out good induction processes.
  • Good understanding of risk assessments and procedures.
  • Good record keeping.
