Cleaning Operations Manager

Bridge Recruitment is seeking a skilled Cleaning Manager to join the team of one of our clients, a national provider of bespoke cleaning and security solutions for various sectors. As a Cleaning Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of cleaning standards, reporting directly to the Services Manager.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the successful delivery of cleaning standards on site, reporting directly to the Services Manager.
- Provide sufficient cover at all times and allocate cleaning tasks correctly.
- Support the Services Manager in delivering the whole service to the client.
- Monitor cleaning operatives' attendance, check for any trends, and address trigger points as per the Absence Policy.
- Train the team on equipment and tasks, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their responsibilities and safety information.
- Investigate breaches of Health and Safety, complaints, or observations about team members' conduct.
- Hold investigation meetings and disciplinary hearings, ensuring a good understanding of the Disciplinary Procedure.
- Respond to requests from the Services Manager and the Client within a reasonable time frame.
- Carry out regular cleaning audits and KPI support.
- Provide support services and oversee Security and Maintenance teams when required as Duty Manager.
- Be flexible to cover various shifts, including late nights and weekends.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and people management skills.
- Ability to work to set schedules and work independently.
- Flexible and proactive attitude.
- Represent the company and partner values on site by being presentable, uniformed, and helpful.
- Experience in coordinating tasks and individuals.
- Good knowledge and experience of Health and Safety procedures and induction processes.
- Good understanding of Risk Assessments and Procedures.
- Good record keeping.
