Job Summary:

Richmond Fellowship is seeking a skilled Recovery and Connect Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our community-based project, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health concerns to access the services and opportunities they need to improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support patients in hospital settings to overcome barriers to discharge
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop support plans
  • Provide housing and benefits support, utility reconnection, and identify housing options
  • Offer a package of 12-week support upon discharge from hospital
  • Manage a caseload of individuals with mental health concerns and establish positive relationships with multidisciplinary organisations

Requirements:

  • Significant understanding of mental health issues and experience working in a mental health setting
  • Ability to manage high-risk clients and resources effectively
  • Good understanding of recovery and coproduction principles
  • Proven ability to lead, supervise, and motivate staff
  • Flexible attitude to working hours and willingness to adapt to changing demands
