Job Responsibilities
  1. Design, build and test wiring harnesses, cable assemblies and sub-assemblies
  2. Install and connect wiring harnesses into assembled units, ensuring high-quality electrical connections
  3. Work closely with the wiring team leader to receive and implement work instructions
  4. Interpret and execute engineering drawings, specifications and guides to meet quality standards

Key Skills and Relevant Experience:

  1. Demonstrated ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings, wiring schedules and circuit diagrams
  2. Proven experience in soldering, crimping, lacing and splicing techniques
  3. Familiarity with cable production methods and PCB assembly processes
  4. Certification in relevant disciplines such as NVQ or City & Guilds level 3 (desirable)
