Helpdesk Team Lead

Vertex IT Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced IT Helpdesk Co-ordinator to join their existing customer service focused 1st Line Helpdesk Support team in East London.
The estimated annual salary for this role is £28,000-£32,000 based on industry standards and location. As a key member of the Helpdesk team, you will be responsible for managing the Helpdesk system and providing first-line support to users.
Main Responsibilities:
- To log all telephone calls on the Helpdesk system and assist users in solving IT-related problems.
- Co-ordinate initial users' access to the Company's network system.
- Perform administration tasks relating to new users, requests for hardware/software, running routine reports from various systems etc.
- To occasionally assist on-site second-line support staff.
- Provide general administrative support to Group IT Administrator.
Person Specification:
- IT background with 12 months' experience of main desktop applications.
- Windows operating systems.
- User support.
