About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Transport Administrator to join our Logistics Team at Avara Foods in Telford.

The successful candidate will be responsible for referring to sales forecast figures to order and de-hire all loose equipment, including crates and pallets, for key accounts at Telford, Dudley, and Wednesbury sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Referring to sales forecast figures to order loose equipment for key accounts.
  • Managing the inventory of loose equipment, including tracking and reducing EHCs for crate suppliers.
  • Monitoring and transferring loose equipment between Avara sites using Warehouse Management systems and CMR documentation.
  • Liaising daily with sites to ensure sufficient equipment is delivered in a timely manner.
  • Liaising with Transport Planners to schedule planned collections.
  • Conducting daily equipment counts and providing information to suppliers via Excel Spreadsheets.
  • Attending loose equipment audits arranged by suppliers.
  • Raising purchase orders for loose equipment and other Logistics suppliers using Oracle.

Requirements:

  • Health and Safety and Compliance responsibility.
  • Good numeracy skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Computer literate with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
