About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Avara Foods. As a key player in ensuring the smooth running of factory machinery, you will be responsible for performing reactive breakdown repairs, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, and recording all documentation accurately and on time.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing reactive breakdown repairs to ensure minimal downtime and maintain production efficiency.
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to prevent equipment failures and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Recording all documentation accurately and on time to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Improving equipment reliability and stamping out recurring faults to reduce maintenance costs and improve overall efficiency.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a multi-disciplined Engineer with a strong electrical bias and sound mechanical knowledge.
  • An Engineering Apprenticeship or qualifications at Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Previous experience within the food or FMCG industry would be beneficial.

Working Hours: Average 42 hours per week, 4 on 4 off day shift, 06:00 - 18:00.
