Technical Product Support Manager

Tarmac is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Product Support Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving the development and support of our products, ensuring they meet the needs of our customers and the market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with marketing, operations, commercial, procurement, customers, and technical teams to ensure the successful launch and support of new products.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to customers and internal stakeholders to add value to our products and services.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to increase sales and revenue through the development of new products and services.
  • Collaborate with regional and national technical teams to ensure knowledge transfer and consistency across the business.
  • Support the development of new products and services, including the facilitation of trials and the launch of new products.
  • Work with commercial teams to review, support, and assess accredited contractors, including advice on the use of Tarmac VAPs products.
  • Identify future R&D opportunities through client feedback and market analysis.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in the commercial aspects of aggregate, asphalt, concrete, pave, and surfacing technology.
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Computer literate with experience of software such as word and excel.
  • Full UK manual car driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
