Data Analyst Position

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support our Digital Strategy Manager in Bromsgrove. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, SQL, and data visualisation tools like Power BI and Tableau.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extract insights from SQL and No-SQL data sets to identify trends and correlations.
- Interpret data analysis findings to produce meaningful information for business stakeholders.
- Perform statistical analysis of data using various methods and techniques.
- Use data to predict trends and performance metrics for different business areas.
- Visualise data in easy-to-understand formats using diagrams and graphs.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports for various stakeholders (internal and external).
- Develop and maintain a Business Intelligence suite for the company.
- Monitor data quality and manage data reconciliation and cleansing activities.
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and identify improvements.
- Collaborate with the Digital Strategy Team to set up efficient data processes and systems.
- Provide recommendations to the Digital Strategy Manager on data requirements during digital system development.
- Ensure data quality assurance and perform validation checks.
Package and Benefits:
- Annual salary of approximately £45,000 to £55,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
- 30 days paid holiday per annum, rising to 33 days after a year's employment inclusive of statutory holidays.

Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years proven experience in a Data Analyst or Data Scientist role.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience using data visualisation tools like Power BI and Tableau.
- In-depth knowledge and experience using SQL.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proven experience with Python.
- Comfortable working with different systems and databases.
- Ability to manage own time and work autonomously.
- Resilience in an unpredictable environment with changing work levels and priorities.
- Attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence.
