A Senior Finance Assistant is required to join a company based in Bromsgrove. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be leading the operational day-to-day elements involved with running an effective and efficient finance team.

You will be vital in developing and implementing strategies and plans to achieve the company's long-term objectives. This is an opportunity for development and growth within a successful business.

As a Senior Finance Assistant, you will be;
- Managing a team of 3 including an Administrator and Purchase Ledger Clerk
- Maintaining accounting systems and processes
- Reporting all monthly financial data to the Finance Director
- Liaise with auditors for annual monitoring
- Manage all credit control procedures
- Manage and maintain daily banking and cashflow.
- Processing sales, purchase, and nominal ledger payments
- Purchasing and processing euro payments
- Credit checking and reporting on new/potential customers.
- Assist with the preparation of Monthly Management Accounts including Accruals, Prepayments & Journal entries
- Completion of VAT Returns for 2 companies

Ideally for this role you will;
- Have experience of supervising a small team
- Purchase and sales ledger experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills

As office-based Senior level Finance Assistant role based in Bromsgrove, you will need to be able to commute to the office daily Monday - Friday.
- Working hours of Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
- Offering a salary for 28-32k dependent on experience
