Antibody Development Scientist

Rxcelerate Limited provides a platform for out-sourced drug discovery and development services. Our aim is to become the antibody drug developer of choice for the UK's venture-backed biotech start-ups and outsourced pharma projects.
Job Description
This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated scientist to join our team and help develop our services to support our growing client base. You will work at the Babraham Research Campus, a leading site within the Cambridge biotechnology hub.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform antibody phage display selections and screening to support internal and external programmes
- Develop and optimise biochemical plate-based screening assays (ELISAs, TR-FRET assays)
- Run biochemical and cell-based profiling assays for antibody characterisation
- Analyse experimental data to enable profiling or selection of best antibody candidates
Requirements
- PhD (or equivalent demonstrated experience), with experience gained in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry
- Hands-on experience with antibody display platforms, ideally phage display libraries
- Skilled in molecular biology and microbiological techniques such as PCR, cloning, gel electrophoresis, DNA sequence analysis, and aseptic cell culture
