At Abcam, we are searching for a motivated Validation Specialist to join our team in Cambridge. This role involves contributing to the expansion of our Antibody Product Portfolio by validating and characterizing new antibodies.

This position is part of the Characterization Team, reporting to the Team Leader Immunocytochemistry and Flow Cytometry. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Designing and executing Immunoassays using advanced techniques.
  2. Using high-end microscopy equipment to image samples.
  3. Developing and improving protocols, ensuring accurate validation, optimization, and documentation.
  4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance testing conditions for individual antibody products and product groups.

The estimated annual salary for this position is £55,000-£65,000, based on experience. We seek candidates with a PhD in a life sciences field or an MSc and multiple years of industry experience.
