We are looking for a skilled Assistant Accountant to join our fast-paced Finance team at Agility Resourcing.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for that next step in their career or seeking exposure to different areas of finance to support their studies.

The salary for this role is estimated at £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role:

  • You will provide financial support to a Finance Manager in the delivery of weekly forecast reporting and assist in the month-end close process by maintaining accurate working papers and reconciling to the financial statements.
  • You will also process weekly and ad-hoc supplier payments, support cash flow forecasting, and assist with the general ledger month-end.
  • You will prepare daily and monthly sales reporting to senior business stakeholders and identify processes to ensure best practice, compliance with policies, and accuracy of reporting.
  • You will support audit and preparation of the group's statutory financial statements and identify possible risks/opportunities on a monthly basis.
  • You will also support with project-related work.

Requirements:

  • AACQB or equivalent accounting qualification
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
