About the Role

This Junior Management Accountant position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a growing medium-sized business, contributing to meaningful projects aimed at process and system improvements.

You will be responsible for supporting the Financial Controller in preparing monthly management accounts and maintaining the 13-week cash flow forecast.

Main Responsibilities
  • Reconcile the fixed asset register, accruals, and prepayments on a weekly basis.
  • Support in the preparation of monthly management accounts for 5 business units.
  • Process weekly Sales ledger invoices and reconcile daily banking transactions.
  • Update vehicle costings with daily mileage data.
  • Provide KPI data as needed.
  • Support credit control processes and assist in year-end audit preparations.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience working in an accounting department.
