Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team, responsible for delivering new business and existing business sales from a portfolio of brands. This is a field sales role, requiring you to spend most of your working day visiting customers, building new relationships, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

">

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • ">
  • Achieving sales performance targets as set out by direct line manager.">
  • Representing the Dealership and portfolio of brands to customers in their defined sales area of responsibility.">
  • Conducting demos of new equipment when required, ensuring customers fully understand the products, benefits, and ease of use.">
  • Ensuring products are delivered to customers in-line with brand and company guidelines and the customer experience is first-class.">
  • Building strong and loyal relationships with customers within the sales area.">
  • Maintaining accurate databases and customer information in accordance with GDPR and other legal requirements.">
  • Working closely with Depot Manager, marketing, and other group roles to develop campaigns driving business sales performance.">

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • A strong background in sales, preferably with experience in equipment sales or high capital value products over £100k unit price.">
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.">
  • Ability to work computer software, including Microsoft Office, and ideally experience with CRM.">
  • A full UK driver's license.">
  • Sales experience in equipment sales or high capital value products £100k+ unit price, ideally with agricultural machinery but not essential.">
  • Someone who is highly driven to succeed and has a track record of sales success.">
