About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team in North Oxford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessments and interventions to children and young people with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify the needs of children and young people.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the mental health needs of clients.
  • Provide evidence-based psychological interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and other modalities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Participate in clinical supervision and peer review to ensure high-quality care and ongoing professional development.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A doctoral degree in clinical psychology or a related field.Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).Experience working with children and young people with complex mental health needs.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
