Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team in Oxfordshire. As a Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our patients and providing clinical leadership to your team.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in child and adolescent psychiatry and excellent interpersonal skills. You will be able to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary teams to provide person-centred care and support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities- Liaise effectively with other services and agencies to ensure seamless care for our patients
- Manage mental health crises, including the use of the Mental Health Act where appropriate
- Support and enable appropriate admission and discharge of patients from inpatient units
- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
- Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management
- CCT in child and adolescent psychiatry
- Additional clinical qualifications
- Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment
- Approved clinician status or able to achieve within 3 months of appointment
- Approved under S12 or able to achieve within 3 months of appointment
