About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team in North Oxford. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychological assessments, interventions, and consultations to children, young people, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify the needs of children and young people.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, working collaboratively with other professionals and families.
  • Provide consultation and training to other professionals, including CAMHS clinicians and multi-agency services.
  • Deliver clinical supervision and support to Psychology Trainees.
  • Participate in group interventions, including CBT for OCD, trauma-focused groups, and DNA-V groups.

Requirements
  • Doctoral level training in clinical/counselling psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and two or more distinct psychological therapies.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or equivalent.
  • Experience of working with children, young people, and their families, with a strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
