About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team in North Oxford. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychological assessments, interventions, and consultations to children, young people, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify the needs of children and young people.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to address mental health issues, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and other modalities.
  • Provide consultation and training to other professionals, including CAMHS clinicians, social care workers, and educators.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of children and young people.
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of mental health services.

Requirements
  • Doctoral level training in clinical psychology, including experience in working with children and young people.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
