About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team in North Oxford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessments and treatments to children and young people with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify the needs of children and young people.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the mental health needs of clients.
  • Provide consultation and training to other professionals and teams to enhance their understanding and skills in working with children and young people with mental health difficulties.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support for clients.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new initiatives and programs to improve mental health services for children and young people.
Requirements
  • Doctoral level training in clinical psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and two or more distinct psychological therapies.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or equivalent.
  • Experience in working with children and young people with complex mental health needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and other professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and shared reflection.
