Parking Centre Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Parking Centre Administrator in Dingwall. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our parking centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review CCTV images of cars parked in violation of local site rules.
  • Validate Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) including potential fines versus approved user and exemption lists.
  • Undertake check-ups of vehicle ownership through the DVLA.
  • Create and post statutory notice letters to members of the public.
  • Coordinate first-line appeals and debt recovery to the point of being passed to a third-party stakeholder.
  • Scan inbound post from members of the public.
  • Interpret enabling legal code of practice.
  • Be the first line for managing complaints.
  • Ensure processes to apply Discounts and Exemptions are working correctly.
  • Monitor payment status of Penalty Charge Notices.
  • Complete Payment Management actions such as Refunds, Transaction Reversals and Redress Payments.
  • Utilise software programs such as Parkway and FGL.
Requirements:
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • The skill to work in a clerical setting.
  • A keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The talent to learn new subjects and absorb new information.
  • Be eager to acquire new knowledge of computer systems.
  • The skill to multitask and adapt to change with minimum direction.
  • Experience of working in the parking industry is desired but not essential.
What We Offer:
  • £23,795.20 per annum.
  • 40 hours per week, working pattern is Mon to Fri but one Saturday every month.
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave per annum rising to 6.6 weeks with long service.
