The Role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Development Lead to help scale our AI startup and contribute to our ambitious growth goals. If you are excited by the opportunity of driving customer acquisition, leading a team, and being a key player in scaling a fast-growing AI company, this role could be for you.



Key Responsibilities

As the Sales Development Lead, you will play a pivotal role in managing and developing a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). Your key responsibilities will include:



  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of SDRs to achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Building and executing strategies to generate, qualify, and nurture leads, delivering a strong pipeline of prospects for the sales team.
  • Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to design and optimize outreach campaigns that resonate with prospective customers.
  • Using data to analyze and improve team performance, identifying areas for growth and implementing best practices.
  • Training and supporting the SDR team on lead qualification, outbound prospecting, and objection handling.
  • Reporting on key performance metrics, providing insights to senior leadership to drive decision-making.
  • Working closely with account executives and the partnership team to transition qualified leads and ensure a smooth handoff.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • 2+ years of experience in sales development or business development, ideally within SaaS or E-commerce.
  • A proven track record of success in a sales development role, with experience in leading or mentoring a team.
  • Self-motivation, ambition, and a results-driven approach, with a passion for developing talent and driving team success.
  • Experience working with CRM tools (e.g., Hubspot) and sales engagement platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI and E-commerce solutions is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a remote or hybrid work environment.
