Lead Deputy Children's Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Lead Deputy Children's Manager.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people, as well as excellent leadership and management skills.

  • Minimum Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years' experience of working in a residential childcare setting, including leading a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, children and families.
    • In-depth knowledge of the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and associated quality standards.
    • Good knowledge and experience of law and practice relating to looked after children.
    • Strong risk management and budgeting skills.

Salary and Benefits: £37,000 - £40,000 per annum, plus benefits package including generous holiday allowance and pension scheme.
