Job Summary:

The Recruitment Crowd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to join our team at a beautiful nursing home in Derby. As a Clinical Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Registered Manager in the overall management of the service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Registered Manager in ensuring the highest quality of service is provided for Service Users through their person-centred care plans.
  • Encourage and support staff to achieve and exceed their full potential.
  • Ensure that all staff under your supervision have the right leadership, effective and efficient organisation, support, training and preparation to carry out their work effectively.
  • Contribute to providing a safe, well-structured environment in which Service Users are treated respectfully, decently and holistically.
  • Plan, implement and evaluate appropriate nursing interventions for Service Users.
  • Monitor care and service provision on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensure a high standard of nursing in the application of clinical nursing procedures and treatment, in accordance with clinical governance and clinical effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience within a mental health environment (desirable).
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Clinical experience as a Registered Nurse (RMN or RGN) with current NMC registration.
  • Knowledge of health and safety matters in relation to hospital care services and risk management.
  • Experience in building positive working relationships with patients, their families, staff and other health and social care professionals.
