About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy Head of Performance Financial Steering to join our team at SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA. As a key member of our Global and Integrated Finance Division, you will be responsible for steering the financial performance of GBIS, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of management information packs, and representing DFIN/PFS in various projects and committees.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10/15 years of experience working in Financial services, with expertise in financial steering and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A degree in Engineering, BSc/BA, MSc/MA, MBA, CPA/CA, CFA would be an advantage. Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as experience in process improvement analysis, business process reengineering, and transformation/integration projects are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead financial performance steering initiatives to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Lead transversal exercises such as annual budgeting, strategic reviews, financial modeling, and benchmark/competition analysis
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance financial performance and reduce costs
  • Provide expert advice to senior management on financial matters and support decision-making processes

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is between $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
