Job Title: Group Aftersales Director

Marshall Motor Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Aftersales Director to drive performance across our group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a large and diverse team to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and challenge forecasts and key performance metrics to ensure maximum profitability from aftersales performance
  • Build business cases based on research, best practice, and technology to reduce friction and optimize processes
  • Work with Divisional Heads of Aftersales and Franchise Aftersales Managers to mobilize and embed the Aftersales strategy
  • Monitor and improve agreed standards by benchmarking and identifying gaps
  • Manage relationships with third-party leasing companies and communicate with the business
  • Support the transformation of the aftersales business to a "tech-first" and customer self-service model
  • Develop and implement an Aftersales strategy that delivers profitability and growth
  • Establish and develop strong relationships with manufacturers to grow partnerships and opportunities
  • Maintain exceptional key controls and ensure all divisional activity is conducted in line with Marshall Motor Group, Manufacturer, and Regulatory requirements
Requirements:
  • Senior/Divisional/Head of Aftersales experience or equivalent
  • Ability to create and influence positive change across the organization
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a large and diverse team
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to devise and implement improvement initiatives
  • Commercially savvy with the ability to navigate barriers and drive performance
  • High levels of personal integrity and personal robustness
  • Ability to shift between strategic projects and operational activities
  • Exceptional relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Extensive knowledge of the automotive retailing sector and market trends
  • Professional and calm approach with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to foresee potential barriers
  • Excellent customer management skills to build long-lasting relationships
