Salary

The estimated salary for this position is around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus bonus.

Job Description

We are searching for an experienced Area Manager UK to ensure the management and development of our business in United Kingdom, including the achievement of all commercial targets, in accordance with our strategy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the relationship between our company and customers, identifying and qualifying new customers, managing new and existing opportunities, preparing accurate and comprehensive quotations, recognizing and implementing commercially viable solutions, and developing a thorough knowledge of clients within a sector.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships between the company and customers to achieve competitive advantages;
  • Identify and qualify new customers and propose organizational development of business opportunities;
  • Manage new and existing opportunities with defined sets of accounts within the UK & Ireland, focusing on Southern England;
  • Prepare accurate and comprehensive quotations inline with agreed timescales;
  • Recognize and implement commercially viable solutions for accounts;
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of clients within a sector and use it to develop relationships and opportunities.

Knowledge and Experience

We require:

  • HND or Engineering Degree, preferably in electrical engineering disciplines;
  • At least 5 years' experience at electric manufacturing companies (LV and/or MV transformers or switchgears, control panels, power stations);
  • A history of working effectively with clients and delivering quantifiable excellence;
  • Good knowledge of the national market.
