The role of an Industrial Sales Expert at Verto People is to drive revenue growth by establishing and maintaining business relationships with current and prospective customers. As a technical expert, you will be responsible for selling industry-leading industrial software solutions to meet customer requirements.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer/Technical Sales- Key Accounts Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing industry-leading sales skills and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business and maintain renewal business.
  • Sell industry-leading industrial software solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Identify and position the best software solution for each customer.
  • Engage with customers and prospects through various communication channels, including telephone, video conference, email, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Research sources to develop prospective customers and expand existing accounts.
  • Develop written proposals and quotations.
  • Provide accurate forecasts for new sales and renewal revenues.
  • Participate in trade shows, conventions, product training, and seminars.
  • Create and maintain account plans for existing customers and prospective customers, highlighting potential users and technical solutions.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, account teams, sales management, finance, legal, and technical services groups.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require commercial experience in a Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Executive, Accounts Manager, or similar field-based sales role with an engineering degree. A Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, mechanical/electrical/electronic engineering, business, or related field is also required.

You should have at least 1 year of experience in an engineering, technical, business, or sales position with demonstrated success. Additionally, office-based position with high levels of travel to customer sites across the UK is required. Commutable to office in Sheffield is essential.

Package

The successful candidate can expect a basic salary of up to £50,000 and an on-target earnings (OTE) of up to £70,000. A car allowance, relocation assistance, and pension scheme are also included in the package.
