About the Job
This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join our team and take ownership of managing and expanding our customer base. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strong relationships with existing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Job Description
- Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and effective servicing of assigned customer accounts.
- Conduct contracted technical visits according to the agreed schedule.
- Plan and prioritise sales activities and customer interactions to align with company goals.
- Manage assigned customers or territories in line with the market development strategy.
- Maintain and grow business with existing customers by promoting the full range of company products and services.
- Manage product/service mix, pricing, and margins in accordance with agreed goals.
- Expand market presence by fully briefing prospective customers on company offerings.
- Meet the agreed number of appointments with customers and prospects.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Prior experience in account management or sales, preferably in the environmental services industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Knowledge of water treatment and environmental services is preferred.
- Full UK driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
