About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Mental Health Leader, working closely with children and young people in educational settings. As a Clinical Director for Children’s Services, you will provide clinical leadership to our multidisciplinary teams, supporting the development of our services alongside senior colleagues.

The role involves managing day-to-day operations, holding a caseload, and undertaking lead professional responsibilities for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health problems. You will also supervise lower-banded CAMHS workers, students, and other professionals as required.

We are looking for someone with previous experience working with children and young people in mental health settings, including specialist assessment and therapeutic interventions. You should have knowledge of legislation related to children and adolescents, safeguarding procedures, and policies. Additionally, you should be able to communicate clearly verbally and in writing, including reports and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operational running of the MHST teams
  • Hold a caseload and undertake lead professional responsibilities for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health problems
  • Supervise lower-banded CAMHS workers, students, and other professionals as required

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children and young people in mental health settings
  • Knowledge of legislation related to children and adolescents, safeguarding procedures, and policies
  • Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing

Working for Us

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. This role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and Certificate of Sponsorship sponsorship. We encourage applications from job seekers who require Skilled worker sponsorship.
