Are you a highly skilled and compassionate individual with a passion for delivering high-quality mental health services? We are seeking an experienced Primary Care Community Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, providing mental health triage, assessment, and outcomes-based interventions to meet service users' needs within the Primary Care Network. You will be responsible for identifying need and the best course of advice, support, or intervention, promoting psychosocial wellbeing by identifying and then supporting pathways for service users and carers.
- Mental Health Triage and Assessment: Providing comprehensive mental health assessments and risk management skills to identify service users' needs and develop effective intervention plans.
- Community Outreach: Working closely with primary care professionals and community organizations to promote mental health awareness and provide support to individuals and carers.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Supporting and advising colleagues within the PCN and across local neighbourhood multi-agency teams to ensure seamless service delivery and quality improvement.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A relevant post-registration qualification (e.g., Registered Mental Health Nurse/OT/Social Worker).
- Relevant post-registration experience in mental health, including experience of leading or participating in service improvement initiatives.
We offer a competitive salary of £43,041 - £70,448 per annum, dependent on experience, plus excellent benefits and opportunities for professional development.
