Borough of Trafford, United Kingdom Trafford Council Full time

**Salary: Band 7 (Level 2) - Band 8 (Level 3), £34,834 - £40,221 per annum. To aid attraction and retention of Social Workers, Trafford have in place a market factor supplement (up to £2145 per annum) which is payable monthly and reviewed on an annual basis.**

We are looking to appoint enthusiastic individuals to undertake strength based assessments and deliver appropriate person centred support and outcomes for adults with care and support needs. You must be able to work in ways that promote independence, recognise the potential for change and through excellent practice enable people to maximise their strengths.

**We are currently recruiting qualified social workers for our Mental Health team**:
We have a number of social workers embedded in our community mental health teams. We are looking for social workers committed to delivering social work interventions to people experiencing severe and enduring mental health problems. We work with colleagues in GMMH to provide multi-disciplinary, coordinated care.

We provide role appropriate supervision and offer training opportunities for Approved Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) authorisation with dedicated AMHP staff will support and guide staff through the training and development.
